Final Day on the Amazon
Woke up in the hammock on the boat for the last time. Hammocks are fun, but I’m definitely ready for my own bed again.
Spent the morning on the boat, taking in the last stretch of the river. Picked up some Amazon Outreach shirts for the family—something to bring back a piece of the trip.
Made a quick stop at a souvenir market on the Amazon and had some fresh coconut water. Then, back on the boat, heading toward Manaus.
One last big experience: swimming with pink dolphins. Pretty wild to be in the water with them on the Amazon.
After that, a stop downtown in Manaus. Walked around by the marina for a bit, then made our way to a pizza shop.
Finally, back to the boat one last time to pack up and get ready for the airport.
Next up: a bus ride and 4 flights.
